As a designer, I'm used to critiquing things, and this Kayomart stereo lrft me feeling a bit disappointed overall. I bought it hoping to modernize my car for family trips, but the installation was a hassle—I had to get help from a friend, and even then, it didn't integrate seamlessly with my vehicle's existing setup. Using it daily, the screen is lovely and responsive, and I love being able to stream cooking podcasts or use maps in real-time, which is very convenient. But the sound output isn't great; it lacks depth, and for the price, I expected better. The packaging was intact when it arrived, which was a relief, but the user manual wasn't very helpful. After a couple of weeks, I've gotten used to it, but it hasn't wowed me as much as I'd hoped. It does the job, but with soem frustrations along the way.
- Pros: The screen is very bright and clear, making it easy to see maps and meuns even in sunlight, and the touch response is quick and accurate, which I appreciated. Having access to all my apps right from the car felt like a big upgrade, and the internet connection stayed strong during my drives, allowing for smooth music streaming and reliable navigation without any hiccups.
- Cons: Setting it up was a bit tricky, as it seemed to require more technical know-how than I expected, and the interface can feel overwhelming at first with so many options. The sound quality from the buolt-in speakers is just pretty decent, not as rich as I hoped, and I noticed it drains the car battery a bit faster if left on for long periods without the engine running.
