overall, i'm happy with this purchase as a gift. my husband loves it for his work, and it feels like it'll last a long time. the photos come out really nice, and the heat feature is a cool extra that he uses often. it's not perfect—i wish it were lighter and had better battery life—but for what it does, it's pretty good. if you're looking for a durable phone with some unique features, this could be a solid choice, though it might take a bit to get the hang of everything.
- Pros: i bought this for my husband who works in construction, and it's been a lifesaver. it's really tough and can handle drops and dust without a scratch, which is great for his job. the camera takes amazing photos, very clear and detailed, and the special camera that sees heat has been super helpful for him to spot things in the dark or check for issues. it connects to the internet fast, and he can use multiple apps at once without any lag. the screen is big and bright, easy to see outdoors.
- Cons: it's a bit heavy and bulky, so not the easiest to carry around in a pocket. the heat vision camera takes some getting used to, and i had to fiddle with settings to make it work right—needed some tweaking. the battery doesn't last as long as i'd hoped, especially with heavy use, and it can get warm after a while. also, it's fairly expensive, so might not be for everyone.
