Decision:

as a builder and deal hunter, I had high hopes for this DIDSeth camera to upgrade my home security without a fuss. I thought it would be a smart buy, but reality hit hard. compared to my old setup, it's fancier in some ways, like the multiple views and sharp images during the day, but it falls short where it matters. the AI detection is neat, but not being able to integrate it with my existing gear makes it feel isolated. the night vision is okay up close, but beyond that, it's not reliable. overall, it's a mixed bag—decent for basics, but not worth it if you need something that plays well with others. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're only using it solo with their app.

• Pros: the camera arrived on time and looked fairly sleek, which was a plus compared to what I used before. the ability to see things from multiple angles at once and zoom in on details was impressive, as it seemed to capture a lot of clarity. connecting it over the air or with a cable was straightforward, and I liked that it could tell the difference between people and other things moving around.
• Cons: unfortunately, it doesn't work with other systems I have, like on my computer, which was a big letdown. the night vision didn't reach as far as I hoped, and the setup felt limited since it only works with one specific app. for the price, I expected more compatibility and better performance in low light.

As a healthcare worker in San Antonio, I was hoping this would help me feel more secure at home, especially with my interest in keeping things looking nice, but honestly, it's been a disappointment. The camera captures great video during the day and even at night, which is a plus, but the lack of compatibility with my existing gear means I can't integrate it smoothly into my routine. I spent a lot of time researching before buying, and it's frustrating that it doesn't work with PC programs or other brands. The motion alerts are smart and can tell people apart from animals, which is cool, but the app can be glitchy, and I've had moments where it didn't notify me properly. Mounting it was easy enough, but overall, it feels like it's not living up to its potential, and for the price, I expected more reliability and flexibility. I might keep it for basic monitoring, but it's not the game-changer I hoped for.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend who's into tech, but honestly, it's been more of a headache than a help. The picture quality is great when it works, but the setup was so frustrating I almost threw it out the window. And the app? Let's just say it's an acquired taste. It does the job, but don't expect it to be user-friendly. The night vision is a lifesaver, though, and the zoom is pretty impressive. Just wish it was easier to get it all working smoothly :).

• Pros: The camera's ability to see in the dark is INCREDIBLY handy, and the app makes it easy to check in from anywhere. The multiple lenses give you a good view of what's going on, which is nice when you're as paranoid as I am about security.
• Cons: Setting it up was a bit of a nightmare, and the fact that it doesn't work with PC clients is a major bummer. Also, the AI sometimes gets confused between my cat and a person, which is... not ideal.
