I picked this up thinking it would be a good activity for my family, and it was okay for a weekend project. The marble run looks cool when it's done, and the water wheel is a neat touch, but it took way longer to put together than expected. The instructions could be clearer, and I had to help the kids a lot, which made it less fun for them. It's educational in a way, teaching patience and some basic mechanics, but it's not something we'd use repeatedly. For the price, I expected more durability and better performance from the electric parts. It's a decent toy, but not amazing. :)
