my first impression was that this is a clever solution for someone like me who's always digging through my bag for keys. as a stay-at-home parent in houston, i need things to just work, and this does the job without much drama. it's snappy and gets the car locked or unlocked quickly, which is a relief when i'm juggling a toddler. but honestly, i'm a perfectionist, so i notice the little flaws—like how it feels a bit cheap and the setup wasn't intuitive. still, for the price and portability, it's a decent pick, though i might look for something sturdier down the line if this one gives out.
- Pros: it's fairly convenient that this little thing folds up so small, making it easy to carry without adding bulk to my keys. i appreciate how it works with my car without any fuss, and the buttons are responsive, so i don't have to stand there pressing repeatedly like some sort of fool.
- Cons: from what i feel, it's a bit plasticky and doesn't seem as durable as i'd hoped for something i use daily. also, programming the buttons was a bit confusing at first, and i worry it might not hold up over time with all the folding and unfolding.
