As a freelancer who's always on the go and into photo stuff, I picked this up for my apartment in Vancouver. It's been a solid addition for over six months now – I use it all the time for camping or just as a night light. The dual function is great, but I wish it had a bit more heft to it. Overall, it does the job well without breaking the bank, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, multifunctional light. Not perfect, but quite good for the price.
- Pros: I really like how this thing works in two ways – it's a bright light for when I need to see far and a soft one for reading or just having on at night. The hand wave feature is super handy for getting light without fumbling for a switch, and it feels quite reliable for everyday stuff like power outages or late-night trips.
- Cons: From what I feel, the motion sensor can be a bit too sensitive sometimes, turning on when I don't mean to, and the build feels a bit plasticky which might not last super long. Also, it's not the brightest in flashlight mode compared to some others I've tried.
