Decision:

As someone who enjoys DIY projects and values a good deal, I had high hopes for this upgrade for my Hyundai Santa Fe. My first impression was disappointment; while the screen size is impressive and the wireless connection is a nice touch, the overall performance is lacking. It runs on a mobile-like system but doesn't handle multitasking well, often lagging or crashing during use. For a product in this price range, I expected better reliability, especially for navigation which is crucial in my daily drives around Denver. It might work for simple tasks, but for a competent user like me, it falls short. I most likely wouldn't recommend it to others seeking a solid car tech upgrade.

  • Pros: The large screen is quite easy to see and interact with, making it straightforward to use for basic tasks. I liked that it connects without wires for phone integration, which reduces some mess in the car.
  • Cons: I didn't like it because the system often freezes or responds slowly, most likely due to software issues. The navigation feature is unreliable and frequently loses signal, making it frustrating for daily commutes. It feels less polished than expected for the price, and setup was more complicated than advertised.
