I bought this expecting a simple way to monitor my door without fuss and it has delivered better than I thought as a mom with a young child I wanted something reliable to keep an eye on deliveries and visitors and this does the job well the video is clear day and night and I like that I get alerts only when a person is detected which cuts down on false alarms from pets or cars it connects to my home network easily after the initial setup and I can view it from my phone while at work or out which gives me peace of mind it seems quite sturdy and blends in with the door making it unobtrusive overall it has met my needs for home security without any major issues and I would recommend it to others looking for a helpful addition to their smart home setup
- Pros: The image quality is quite sharp and clear making it easy to see details like faces and packages the wide view covers almost everything outside without needing to move and it works well at night with good visibility in low light I can check the feed from my phone anywhere which is very convenient and it only alerts me for people not random things saving me from unnecessary notifications
- Cons: It seems to drain the battery a bit faster than I expected especially with frequent use and the setup required some patience with the app connection initially also the field of view while wide might miss some corners if not positioned perfectly
