As someone who enjoys DIY projects, I found this dash cam easy to assemble and get running in my car. The first impression was positive with its compact size and decent performance in daylight. However, after using it for a couple of months, I've noticed it's not perfect for all situations. The night vision is okay but not great, and I wish it had better battery management. Overall, it's a functional device that does the job for basic recording, but I'm not blown away. It seems reliable enough for family use, though I might look for something with better low-light handling in the future :)
- Pros: I liked that the video quality is sharp and clear, making it easy to see details on the road. The automatic saving when it detects a bump works well and gives me peace of mind. It's fairly simple to set up and start using right away, and the way it manages storage by overwriting old clips is handy for long drives.
- Cons: The screen is a bit small, so checking footage while driving isn't ideal. In low light, the video isn't as good as I hoped, with some graininess. It seems to drain my car's battery faster than expected if left on for long periods, and the mounting could be more secure on rough roads.
