When I first got this, I wasn't sure about swapping out the original controls, but it grew on me. The display is crisp, and I appreciate not having to squint to see the settings, especially during my drives around San Antonio. As a teacher who values practicality, it does make the air conditioning easier to manage, though I wish it had a few more intuitive touches. Overall, it's a decent upgrade that adds a modern feel without being perfect. :)
- Pros: The screen is super clear and easy to read, which is great for my eyes. It fits perfectly in my Range Rover without any hassle, and tapping to control the air feels modern and much better than those old knobs. Installation was straightforward, so I didn't need help, and it makes adjusting the temperature something I don't mind doing.
- Cons: It could be wrong, but the touch response isn't always instant, which can be a bit frustrating when I'm in a hurry. For the price I paid as a deal hunter, I expected it to feel a bit more premium; it's functional but doesn't wow me beyond the basics. After a short time, I noticed it doesn't integrate seamlessly with all the car's existing features, which is a letdown.
