Commuters were left scratching their heads after a woman plugged in a desktop computer and started doing work – on a train.
Travellers on the Virgin East Coast Darlington to London service were stunned when the unknown worker used the free power supply to run her hefty iMac computer – including a mouse and keyboard.
David Hill, who works for a software company, was travelling in the same carriage and snapped a picture of the woman.
The picture went viral with hundreds of people re-tweeting the image and poking fun at the woman.
Jonny Keighley said: “With a full on old school keyboard. I bet the fellow passengers were pleased when started hammering away on that too.”
Another web user added: “That provided me with a genuine jaw-drop moment.”
