ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – New fashion designers are wrapping up a big project Monday; they have been working to make dozens of coats for needy kids.
The Albuquerque Fashion Incubator has been hosting people from all over the country. The designers are getting a hands on lesson in how to make and design clothing and run a business.
“It’s a skill that’s largely gone off shore. So, the people that know how to do these things are hard to find in the United States right now, but it’s a viable business,” said Eric Husman.
The coats will go to three local charities.
